Philosophy
Hi and welcome I’m Sandy and the owner of ALL PAWS PET TRAINING. I specialize in puppy training and
dog training and behavior issues in the family pet dog. My goal and commitment is to provide you and your
dog with personalized service, kind humane effective training methods and science based behavior modification
programs. I use my knowledge in canine behavior, science based learning theory and positive training methods
to help you and your family meet your training goals.

Certified Professional Dog Trainer Knowledge Assessed, from the CERTIFICATION COUNCIL FOR
PROFESSIONAL DOG TRAINERS (CCPDT). This is the top international independent certifying organization for
Professional Dog Trainers. As a Certified Trainer I had to pass a four hour written exam on all facets of dog training
including ethology, animal husbandry, the science of learning theory, classroom management, and teaching skills. I also
had to complete a minimum of 300 hours of dog training and have several references from clients, a colleague, and a
veterinarian. To maintain my certification I must complete 36 hours of continuing education every three years.

industry.
Certified Therapy Dog Handler of my own two therapy dogs Lizzie and Lucy. I make regular visits at local nursing
homes: The Colonnade and Frederick Mennonite Home in Montgomery County PA.
Certified Therapy Dog Trainer and Evaluator with Therapy Dogs International, Inc.
Certified AKC Trainer and Evaluator for the S.T.A.R. Puppy Program and the Canine Good Citizen Program.
Association of Pet Dog Trainers APDT Professional Member. The APDT is the premier professional organization
for positive trainers that are committed to better training through education.
